From the Director's office...

Greetings everyone!  My name is Cedric and I am the Director of the Egypt Exploration Society, a UK-based charity supporting fieldwork and research in Egypt as well as offering archaeological training opportunities in the UK and in Egypt. I thought I could take the opportunity of this blog to give you, and especially to our supporters, some regular updates on the work my staff and I are doing. Here are some of the things we have been working on recently.  -        I sent to Essam the papers asking for a new EES concession in Egypt. These papers will then be sent by Essam in order to get a positive answer from the Ministry of Antiquities as quickly as possible.
